OUR STORY

It’s been said that the best ideas are born out of necessity. That’s how our organization got its start. Thymic Carcinoma Center (TCC) was founded for patients by patients desperate for hope and information at a time when both were almost non-existent. They believed there had to be something better than what is currently available to patients and caregivers. It was their mission to find it. They couldn’t find it, so they created it. The warriors we call “The Original 4” are pictured below. They laid the foundation in 2015, and TCC became a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in March 2021. We are already realizing our vision of helping patients and caregivers live longer, healthier, happier lives.
